Space racing duel

Space racing vehicle concept in LEGO is always cool. But for this scale with much detail is more awesome. This spacecraft by Victor is so compact. Even though the scale is small, he already mix technic with system in one build and even built with NPU, the heart of the vehicle is done with Axl’s torso (Design ID 24128).

Hot Red Hatch

Hatchback is a compact car with less capacity than sedan, you can use it anywhere, unless you are a race addict. My latest build is a modern sport hatch, the body is sleek, the ground clearance is low, with big rim wheel, and with dual exhaust which mean it has a big engine. It is sure a great sport hatchback.

Getting ready for 2018!

Long time no post here. Sorry, because I’ve been very busy these days and I just came back from a vacation. I wanted to post something before 2017 ends, so here’s what I came up with a special build. I usually made renders and models with hidden meanings, and so for this build, the opened door represent we’re going to 2018 and the bright light in front of it means a bright future which I hope we all have it.

Happy New Year all!

Rapper Raptors

What if raptors could act just like a human? I think that they would like to rap from it’s name. To realise that idea, I created a trio raptor models (Blue, Charlie, and Delta from Jurassic World movie) which is based from dimensions set (71205: Jurassic World Team Pack) model and completed with full LEGO desert-like scene, except for the mountains and ground. It looks like the raptors also following the modernization, look at those clean teeth and shiny claw! The raptors were also use headphone and caps to make it looks like real rapper from Jurassic era.

It is actually my first most complicated render I’ve ever made, I also made bush, trees, rocks and added surface imperfections to the bricks. That’s why the memory consumption is large because of them. Effort won’t betray you, the result is no doubt, it’s like a photorealistic one for me.

Can’t Rollin’…

Yes, the LEGO version of BB-8 can’t rollin’ because of the stud (except if you use this crazy technique)! This is an old idea from me and I have created the similar post one year ago, but since the quality of the image is low, I had to recreate it into a high-quality and photorealistic render since it was a great meme idea.

And to get the job done, I try to edit and composite the raw image to a more realistic one. The result is worth it even though it’s just a render of a two parts figure.

Happy Eid al-Adha 2017!

There’s another celebration again! Today is Eid al-Adha (Feast of the Sacrifice). It is the second of two Muslim holidays celebrated worldwide each year. It honors the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ishmael, as an act of obedience to Allah’s (God’s) command. Before he sacrificed his son, God intervened by sending his angel Jibrīl who then put a ram in his son’s place. In commemoration of this, an animal is sacrificed (know more in Wikipedia).

As a Muslim, I celebrate it too in real life and in LEGO. The model I’m gonna show to celebrate this occasion is a Minecraft scene with a pen, some animals, a house, and completed with Minecraft style background.

I’m not a Minecraft gamer. The model is done by searching for a reference on the internet, so I’m sorry if I made some inaccuracies in the render. Anyway, it always fun to create a model in a selected theme that you haven’t make or know about it.

No obstacle is too hard for this truck

When you’re on a military job in the middle of nowhere, you need a huge and durable vehicle. And that’s what I made for now. A huge and durable transportation, it also packed with many unique features that specially made for that environment. The model I built is a Half-Track Truck since tank tracks really help to drive over rough terrain and I mixed it with truck which has a large capacity.

See more of this badass truck!

Glorious Indonesia!

These months are full of celebration, that’s why you may see so many post about celebration here. Today, we are also celebrating the Indonesia’s 72nd independence day as I’m Indonesian. In this render, I tried to replicate the Jayawijaya mountain and put a small Indonesian flag in the top of it. Jaya in Indonesia means glorious and the mountain means that we have achieved the victory by all of our hard work until the highest peak. Even if it’s just a single picture, it brought many message to all of us…

Celebrating World Emoji Day with LEGO

Today is July 17, and that is the date for World Emoji Day. We use Emojis almost everyday, so why not celebrate them. You can celebrate it in so many ways, you can use #WorldEmojiDay on social media, or you can show how much you love emoji, even you can use an emoji costume and post it online. But I would go in my own style, by using LEGO!

This emoji artwork is rendered using Blender freestyle and I used an orthographic camera to get the best perspective of it. The emojis are just randomly putted, but I focused for the happy emoji to be in the middle of all the Emojis, you want to always be happy right?

Hover Tank of the Future

Who knows, maybe in the bright future, flying-vehicles are an international-standard. And so for military vehicles like this hover tank by KANICHUGA. Good bye to the boxy shape, the tank is now aerodynamic-friendly. All of the equipment are also has been adapted for that era, and maybe you don’t even need a minifig for driving inside of that thing. Even though it’s just a LEGO model, but those smooth work are awesome!
